Chen, inspired by oscillating sea waves, created these pieces by knitting nylon, cashmere and lycra yarns on a domestic knitting machine for explosive volume. For his A/W 2010 collection, the designer took inspiration from 1970s coats and African Tribal wear for these dynamic silhouettes. Having trained with Alexander McQueen, Hussein Chalayan and Claire Tough, next week Chen's MA show will debut at London Fashion Week.
